Experience at first hand a working loom

As the single most influential material to come from our beautiful islands, islanders are justifiably passionate about Harris Tweed. On this tour we will take you to a working Mill where the tweeds are sent to local weavers before being checked on their completion and duly stamped with the precious Orb stamp of the Harris Tweed Authority. You will experience at first hand a working loom in a weaver’s shed and be allowed the opportunity to browse the fantastic wares which adorn the great and the good as well as stock some of the finest establishments known to man by visiting the Harris Tweed Shop.
